This fantastic figure from Kaiyodo is patterned after “jizai okimono”–articulated figures of iron first made during Japan’s Edo period (and stil being produced today), and usually depicting such creatures as lobsters, crabs, insects and snakes, as well as dragons and other mythical beasts. The genuine antique versions can sell for astronomical amounts of money, but now you can own your very own authentically articulated version of a horse, thanks to Kaiyodo’s TK Project–Takayuki Takeya’s interpretations of traditional jizai okimono! About 12cm tall at the shoulder and 18cm long, this beautiful beast is highly posable, and includes a stick(which can be stored on the underside of the display base)so you can adjust the position of its eyes.
